I make abstract visuals that vibrate up close and turn to fluid patterns at a distance.

I program a small CNC machine to plot my digital designs onto paper using brush pens and custom-mixed inks. Unlike a printer, the plotter draws every line like an individual pen stroke. It forces me to think in paths and outlines.

Every color needs a separate layer—similar to a screen print. There’s no blending or erasing, and effects rely on precise alignment between layers. Complex designs (like Technicolor 2) take ~10 hours to plot.

I publish new pieces when I can—usually every couple of weeks. I announce new stuff on Instagram (@mynameisnorfi).
